Driveway Retaining Wall Reconstruction

Two new stepped retaining walls will frame both sides of the driveway, progressively descending with the existing grade for a balanced, professionally finished entrance.
Project Overview
A stepped wall system designed around the natural driveway grade.
This is not one continuous wall at a single height. Each side will be constructed as a multi-level system: higher sections provide two wall courses plus cap, lower sections transition to one wall course plus cap, and the complete run steps down toward grade.

Detailed Scope of Work

Site Preparation
Prepare the existing areas along both sides of the driveway for retaining-wall construction.

Removal & Excavation
Complete the necessary excavation and material removal required to establish the new retaining-wall footprint.

Base Preparation
Prepare and compact the appropriate structural base required for the selected retaining-wall system.

Retaining Wall Construction
Construct approximately 110 linear feet on each side of the driveway, approximately 220 linear feet total.

Stepped Wall Configuration
Build approximately 22-foot sections with two wall courses plus cap, transitioning to approximately 22-foot sections with one wall course plus cap. The remaining runs continue in progressively descending levels to follow the driveway and terminate naturally at grade.

Selected Wall Material
Install the premium black retaining-wall system along both sides of the driveway with consistent alignment and clean joint lines.

Coping / Wall Cap
Final coping selection to be confirmed. Premium black granite coping will be presented as an additional natural-stone upgrade.

Finishing & Cleanup
Complete final adjustments, cleanup and finishing of the work area following retaining-wall construction.
